It has been a great a busy year so far. Sali, Carol, Phyllis and I all spent time here at my home again. This has been an annual ritual for about 12 years I think. Fun with the visiting, catching up, shopping, eating, etc. etc.
Then - a really fun thing that is now an annual event is that Jerry and Bev come up for their Anniversary and take me out to dinner (yep - that's how that works) and spend the night. This time they spent two nights as they went to a car show. Fun fun fun.
AND - Clark and Mary Ann come up at least once a year and spend a few days, which they did this spring. What a great bunch of friends who happen to share such a past.
Of course in my own life (away from EHS), I stay busy and my oldest sister is coming next week to spend a whole week with me. She lives in Jacksonville, FL so that's a long way to come and I'm delighted. She is so very very bright - such a wonderful full life this gal has and the talents obviously were not shared with the rest of us as she has them all. I'm the one to extol her virtues as she is way too dignified AND I'm not. I've planned a tea/luncheon here at the house for her with several of my close Spokane friends coming. This is always so much fun.
When Clark and MaryAnn came up, we went out to Gary and Karen Correll's absolutely beautiful home and visited. I did that again just the other day as Karen helped me make some great little goodies for me to have when my sister "Sherry" gets her. I took a few of them with me to a By-Laws Committee meeting I am part of and they were a hit there, too.
Remember - if you haven't let Jerry know, he needs to know (1) - Are you coming? (2) - If so, do you want Steak or Chicken for the dinner at the Golf Club the first night. LET HIM KNOW!!!
